Discovery on the River
We went fishing that morning and I had grabbed my drone with me. After a few pics and videos I noticed a strange line in the river. This Myakka River mixes with the ocean and I was eager to get a photo of this line running through the river. Adjust with a taste in post production and here we are!
An estuary is a partially enclosed coastal body of brackish water (mixed salt and freshwater) where rivers meet the sea, creating highly productive ecosystems. Located along coastlines worldwide, they serve as vital "nurseries of the sea", supporting diverse habitats like marshes and mangrove forests that protect against floods and erosion.
